Narrative description of Project:

Evaluate socio-economic aspects of stamping out operation in backyard poultry, layer, and broiler. This study achieved the following objectives: estimation of economic loss to poultry farmers due to outbreak of AI, estimation of the cost of production of chicken meat and egg, evaluation of the impact of compensation on business recovery

·         Interaction meetings conducted with district livestock officers

·         Case studies conducted with poultry growers
